The Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR) is a nonprofit organization founded on the belief that intelligent, innovative land use is the key to ensuring a healthy future for communities and the environment. CCLR enables communities to develop sustainably and equitably through land recycling—restoring underutilized sites to productive use. Their expertise is remediating and redeveloping environmentally distressed properties.
The site had to be responsive with intuitive navigation and a focus on donation and sign ups. There are many site contributors and lots of content, so easy and powerful back-end management was important. They wanted a beautiful site to provide a simple way for people to sign up for workshops, gather information on Brownfield’s, donate and supply resources for developers and government agencies.
A beautiful website with a simple interface so users can find vast amounts of information quickly. The streamlined site-map combined with contemporary design engages users from any device as the Drupal powered website is responsive. The homepage features an animated slide show with video integration, light-box videos and news api. We built a custom module to highlight state resources and events and the site contains a video gallery, project gallery with slide shows, resource publication module with sortable taxonomy, manageable team bios and CiviCRM integration. To keep the brand inline with the contemporary new site, we refreshed the CCLR logo and created a horizontal orientation.
